A traditional use is not a clinical result. A laboratory finding about an ingredient is not automatically evidence that a retail cream will work in the same way.
Ask what was actually tested
Read the species, extract type, concentration, model, comparison and measured outcome. A result from a cell experiment, an ingredient sample or a different formulation cannot simply be transferred to a product on a shelf.
Keep cosmetic claims specific
EU Regulation 655/2013 sets common criteria for cosmetic claims, including evidential support. Our publishing rule is to describe the evidence at the level it supports, not to turn botanical interest into a promise to treat disease or reverse ageing. [1]
Our evidence boundary
We do not label immortelle a cure or treat producer marketing as independent research. A research note needs a traceable primary source and a clear account of what was tested. When verification is incomplete, we omit a claim rather than present it as established.
